There's a BT Openzone hotspot near by so I've taken advantage and paid for a day's internet.

Whether I'll be able to download stuff or not we'll see!

It's been a good week, I finished unpacking yesterday and my room is now pretty much how I want it. I just need to find a rug I like. I will take pictures at somepoint!

I've barely used my laptop so no start on vidding so far but I have watched a few films and started watching True Blood.

Dad is coming over today to see the flat and so I can give him his birthday presents and tonight is new Michael McIntyre and the return of Total Wipeout. I'm probably more excited about that second one than I should be!

And as now I'm just rambling I will log off.

My LJ paid time/icons have run out otherwise I would be using my Tina Fey icon and commenting on the Sarah Palin news. That woman really is something special. ;)

Robin Hood cancelled

Pretty soon they'll be no Saturday dramas left!

As a result of BT rubbishness no phone line till 14th July and no internet till around 25th.

Can check LJ at work though and everything else on my mobile.

I always seem to go offline around my birthday! ;)

Anyway, time to get moving. Am actually feeling slightly sad to leave here but that'll go very quickly I think!

On the upside, during the downtime I might actually get the vids started I have planned for Olivia/Johnny from General Hospital and Jake/Amanda from All My Children.

Plus am determined to see thudjack play Guitar Hero! ;)

Have sore feet and feel knackered!

Most of the cleaning and packing is now done. Just need to mop my room and take my desk apart.

Now going to crash on the sofa, eat strawberry jaffa cakes and watch Coach trip.

Very strange to think that we won't be living here this time tomorrow!

BT are causing me a ton of annoyance. If you want to transfer to a new property it now starts a new 12 month contract. Not impressive considering we were planning to get rid of them at the end of the month!

After all, tried transferring it to new address but the previous tenants have not ended their phone line there so it can't be done without more time. Have had to ask the agents to contact the previous tenants to get them to cancel it but I don't have much hope!

Might have a nap now actually.

There is a woman on the phone from Iran crying while trying to tell the world what is happening to her country.

It's just completely heartbreaking.

Well it's been a really long and rubbish couple of weeks but I'm now back to feeling like everything is okay and that things arn't completely off.

I've had a nice day getting on with the packing and have even had a doze on the sofa this afternoon, which I needed since I woke up when thudjack left this morning. I really am incapable of sleeping in now!

I'm now having a Michael Mcintyre evening and have watched both his Live at the Apollo and Live and Laughing. I've now moved on to Dara while waiting for Michael's comedy tour to start.

Plan for tomorrow is to do more packing and carry on with the clear out of stuff I've accumilated during the two years I've lived here. I'm almost sad to be leaving but not quite!

I can't find the scene of John and Elizabeth stood on the balcony looking at the moon.

I've used it before, I know it's there, but I just can't find it and because I've been looking for a good hour, using another scene just seems like a cop out!

I finally feel like my final Sweet Charity video is going in the direction I want it to.

I was stuck for ages but this evening it's finally clicked into place and for the most part the rest of the vid is mapped out so the panic is starting to subside! Luckily my bidder was really great about giving me a bit longer to work on it.

I was going to carry on but as falling asleep at my desk, I'm going to stop now and come back to it tomorrow.

Not for the first time though, vidding is making me wish I knew the SGA John/Elizabeth stuff better because they really are such an adorable pair.

In the mean time, what are your favorite Sheppard/Weir scenes?? You know, just to help me along! ;)

SVU casting news

I was going to comment but meh.

Excellent start the day!

My mobile phone was working at 6:30am as I turned off my alarm and unhooked the charger.

When I got up properly at 7:00am it had shut down and will now not turn itself back on.

I'm quite irritated!

Mainly because I know they'll probably try and blame it on the phone being dropped two weeks ago but by the timescale I suspect that has nothing to do with it.

*sigh*

So if anyone wants me, e-mail is the way to go!

edit and at 7:54 it just suddenly started working again. Very odd.

Have had a day of running around getting loads done but I think finally it's caught up with me and I'm going to have an early night!

But today I have:

1. Worked on Sweet Charity vids
2. Had a hair cut
3. Been to M&S in search of shoes
4. Had my eyebrows threaded (ow)
5. Been to collect boxes for the move
6. Been to ASDA to do a food shop but got bored and just got clothes and ice cream (laurajo said I could! :P)
7. Cooked dinner

My life is so exciting. ;)

Despite the dullness, I'm feeling pretty contented at the moment. Probably because work is good, house hunting is on going and the weight loss isn't moving in the wrong direct.

So yes, all is well! Which no doubt means duller LJ posts but less drama queen-ness! ;D

Actually might lay in bed and watch the Chuck pilot as it really does feel too early to sleep!

I'm working out of the old magistrates court tomorrow doing election stuff so would be great to have internet access as will be computerless!

Oh well, at least I've got a few episodes of various shows on there to watch!

I'm supposed to be in bed but instead playing with phone. Very stupid of me.

I'm back watching mid April's episodes of General Hospital and Carly & Claudia have both just taken pregnancy tests.

If they are both pregnant and remain pregnant, I will reach through my computer and kill someone if we have to sit through yet another 'swapped at birth' storyline. Seriously.

Carly really shouldn't have to have, only to lose, another child.
